Bram Vandeninden

Researcher PHD Student at Sciensano

Bram Vandeninden is currently involved in European Horizon Projects DUT and PARC at Vlaamse overheid, focusing on sustainable urban transformation and the 15-minute City concept. As a PhD student at Université libre de Bruxelles, Bram is evaluating the Burden of Disease and Environmental Health Inequalities related to urban and transport planning, particularly concerning motorized road transport. Concurrently, as a PhD researcher at Sciensano, Bram contributes to related research. Previously, Bram served as a scientific employee and geo-data scientist at Belgian Interregional Environment Agency, where scientific research on air pollution exposure patterns was conducted, and coordinated the Belgian challenge for the BE-GOOD Interreg Project. Additional experience includes working as an adjunct director at Vlaamse Milieumaatschappij and as a GIS consultant at IVA Mobiliteitsbedrijf Gent. Bram holds a Master of Science in Geography from KU Leuven and VUB and a Bachelor of Geography from KU Leuven.
