Rita P Costa

Rita P Costa is a highly experienced scientist specializing in cell and molecular biology. Currently serving as a Postdoctoral Scientist at the German Center for Neurodegenerative Diseases (DZNE) since March 2021, Rita has developed a strong foundation in research through previous roles as a Junior Research Scientist and PhD Student at i3S - Instituto de Investigação e Inovação em Saúde from March 2015 to January 2021. Rita's academic journey includes a Doctor of Philosophy in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology from ICBAS- Abel Salazar Institute of Biomedical Sciences (2015-2019), a Master's degree in Biochemistry from Universidade do Porto (2012-2014), and a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry from the same institution (2009-2012).
