Charlotte Holzer

Conservator at Deutsches Museum

Charlotte Holzer is an experienced conservator currently serving as a Project Conservator for the Aviation and Marine Navigation Exhibition at Deutsches Museum since September 2019. Previous roles include a University Assistant at Technische Universität München, where responsibilities involved teaching a course on cleaning historic textiles, and supervising student research, as well as a University Lecturer at Universität für angewandte Kunst Wien, focusing on the chemical principles of textile conservation. Additional experiences include a Volontärin position at Bayerisches Nationalmuseum, various internships at prestigious institutions such as The British Museum and Kunsthistorisches Museum, and a role as Project Conservator at Österreichisches Theatermuseum. Charlotte Holzer holds a Doctor's Degree from Technical University of Munich and a Magistra in Conservation-Restoration from Universität für angewandte Kunst Wien.
