Edward Koval

Ed Koval is an accomplished executive in the biopharmaceutical industry, currently serving as EVP and Chief Business Officer at Geron Corporation since December 2021. Koval's extensive experience includes leadership roles at ZebiAI Therapeutics as Chief Business Officer, where a strategic partnership with Google Advanced Sciences was established, and at X-Chem, Inc. as Senior Vice President of Corporate Development, where over 70 drug discovery programs were initiated. Previous positions also include Managing Director at BioLink Consulting, Senior Vice President at Veloxis Pharmaceuticals, Vice President at Novartis, and leadership roles at Variagenics, Chiron Corporation, and Merck.
