Karen Homer has a Master's degree in Public Health from the University of Maryland Baltimore County and a Bachelor's degree in Gerontology & Business Administration from Towson University. Karen currently works as the Policy & Professional Affairs at The Gerontological Society of America, overseeing multiple projects and initiatives, and collaborating with external designers to create digital/print collateral. Previously, Karen held positions such as Project Development Manager at LITTLE FALLS VILLAGE, Marketing Communications Specialist at The Arbor Company, and Business Institute Research Associate at USAging. In their roles, Karen executed strategic plans, managed grant tracking systems, analyzed sales data, organized events, and built relationships with key stakeholders. At Towson University, Karen served as the Student Director of Community Outreach and Events, supporting fundraising campaigns and engaging with volunteers and sponsors.
