Dr. Sascha Giegold

Dr. Sascha Giegold has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Dr. Sascha is currently the Executive Director at Gerstel (Shanghai) Trading Co., Ltd. since January 2024. Prior to that, they served as the Director of Global Sales and Marketing at GERSTEL starting in June 2021. From April 2018 to May 2021, they worked as the Branch Manager at Shimadzu Deutschland GmbH. Before that, they held multiple positions at Shimadzu, including Sales Specialist, Product Manager HPLC & Data Systems, and Sales Specialist and Deputy Office Manager. Dr. Sascha also worked as a Technical Product Manager Pharmaceuticals at LGC Standards from June 2011 to June 2013. Dr. Sascha'searlier experience includes working as a Scientist Pharmacology/eADME - Labhead Bioanalysis at Lead Discovery Center GmbH from 2008 to 2011, and as a wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter at Institut für Energie- und Umwelttechnik e.V. IUTA e.V. from 2003 to 2008. Throughout their career, Dr. Giegold has demonstrated expertise in sales, marketing, product management, and scientific research.

Dr. Sascha Giegold received their Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry from Universität Siegen, which they completed from 2006 to 2008. Before that, they completed their Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Analytical Chemistry & Laboratory Management from Hochschule Niederrhein between 2004 and 2006. Dr. Sascha also holds a Diploma in Analytical Chemistry from Hochschule Niederrhein, which they obtained from 2001 to 2004. In 1998 to 2000, Dr. Giegold studied Meteorology at the University of Cologne.
