Gerstner Philanthropies was founded in 1989 by Louis V. Gerstner, Jr. and focuses on biomedical research, opportunities for an excellent education and career, and assistance for people who have suffered setbacks and need a “helping hand” to restore their equilibrium, as well as selected other grants.
