Dr. Sheila Kibwage

Dr. Sheila Kibwage has a diverse range of work experience in the medical field. Dr. Sheila currently serves as a member of Women in Global Health and the World Medical Association. In 2023, they also became a medical officer at Gertrude's Children's Hospital. Additionally, they hold a director position at Practitioners in Global Health. Prior to these roles, Dr. Kibwage worked as a medical officer at Equity Afia Branches from 2022 to 2023 and at Kangundo Sub County Hospital from 2021 to 2022. Dr. Sheila also served as a medical officer at Kisii Teaching and Referral Hospital from 2021 to 2021. Dr. Kibwage was a member of the World Medical Association since December 2022 and a member of the World Medical Association- Junior Doctors Network starting in February 2023.

Dr. Sheila Kibwage's education history includes a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery - MbChb degree from the University of Nairobi, which they obtained from 2014 to 2020. Prior to that, they attended Precious Blood Riruta Secondary School from 2009 to 2012 for their high school education. In addition to their academic qualifications, Dr. Kibwage has also obtained a certification in European Paediatric Advanced Life Support from the Resuscitation Council UK in November 2022.
