Njeri Gitau

Njeri Gitau is an accomplished Project Manager currently overseeing the delivery of the HMIS system at Gertrude’s Children’s Hospital since January 2021. With a diverse background in information technology, Njeri has held key positions such as Information Technology Manager in a self-employed capacity and IT Manager at Copia Kenya, where Njeri implemented an Open-source ERP solution to optimize costs. Previous experience includes roles as Freelance Project Manager/Software Project Manager/Software Developer and General Manager of Research and Development at AkiliAfrica, focusing on technology advancement and project management. Njeri has also contributed significantly as a Lead Systems Engineer at Intelligent Product Solutions, Systems Development Manager at Bimbo Bakeries USA, and Lead Systems Developer at George Weston Bakeries, showcasing a strong track record in software implementation and systems development. Educational qualifications include a BSc. in Computer Information Systems from Mayville State University and multiple certifications from Kenya High School and Consolata Primary School.
