Philip Boakye

Philip Boakye, MPhil, has extensive experience in health informatics and laboratory information systems. Currently serving as the Strategic Information Focal Person and Laboratory Information Systems Specialist at Ghana Health Service since March 2015, Philip has also held positions as the Technical Lead and Chief Executive Officer at Koachie Health Systems since January 2017. Previous roles include consulting for the Ministry of Health & Sanitation - SL and King's College London, as well as serving as Laboratory Information Systems Technical Supervisor and Data/Information Systems Project Manager at Global Health Systems Solutions. Philip has a solid academic background with an MPhil in Field Epidemiology and Applied Biostatistics, an MSc in Health Informatics, and other degrees from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology and Sikkim Manipal University.
