Andreas Wielenberg began their work experience in 2005 at Gesellschaft für Anlagen- und Reaktorsicherheit (GRS) gGmbH. Andreas started as an Expert, specializing in probabilistic safety assessment for nuclear power plants. Andreas also conducted research on PSA level 1 methods for internal and external events, and managed technical projects related to PSA and deterministic safety assessment. In October 2017, they were promoted to Head of the Reactor Coolant System Department. Andreas is also an Observer in the VVER Regulators Forum PSA Working Group.
Andreas Wielenberg's education history begins in 1995 when they enrolled at the University of Münster to pursue a Diplom degree in Physics. Andreas studied at the university for seven years and successfully completed their degree in 2002.
