Danielle S. Harper

Danielle S. Harper, M.A.Ed, serves as a Multilingual Learner Educator at Gestalt Community Schools, focusing on language acquisition and literacy for multilingual students since November 2023. Prior experience includes a role as an Elementary ESL Teacher at Memphis-Shelby County Schools from July 2017 to November 2023, where Danielle advocated for early literacy, mentored colleagues, and engaged the community. Participation as a fellow in The Empathy Project through Participate involved creating shared learning experiences to foster understanding among students. Additionally, an education internship in Peru with Exodus House International provided hands-on experience with families at risk, emphasizing cultural immersion. Academic credentials include a Master’s degree in Education from Union University and dual Bachelor’s degrees in Business Administration and International Studies from Belhaven University.
