Lola Priego

Lola Priego is the founder of Base, a startup that is building a DTC lab device that can test biomarkers in blood with a small amount of blood. Lola was formerly the head of engineering at Cor (Nueon Inc.), where they were responsible for building the device and managing the engineering team. Prior to that, they were the founder and CEO of SpaniardsToSV, an NGO that helps Spaniards transition to working in Silicon Valley. Lola also worked as a senior software engineer at Facebook, where they worked on improving app's network performance to increase perceived speed.

Lola Priego is a computer scientist and engineer who has a Master's Degree in Computer Science from the Illinois Institute of Technology, and Bachelor's Degrees in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, and Medicine from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid.
