Francis Dumais has over 12 years of professional experience in the fields of marketing, sponsorship, and consulting. From 2007 to 2008, they were a Project Manager at Promostar, a promotional/HR agency specialized in promotional agents employment. From 2008 to 2011, they were a self-employed Sponsorship Consultant, working with clients such as Bleublancrouge, Loto-Québec, TELUS, The Ride Shakedown Event, Le Marché de Noël de Montréal Event, Studio4Fun, Culture Pour Tous, and Théâtre de la Vielle 17. From 2011 to 2012, they worked as a Sponsorship Consultant at Loto Québec, a gaming entity. During this time, they were responsible for overseeing consumer research in partnership with the company Ipsos and collecting information and specialized measurement indicators. From 2012 to 2013, they were a Consultant at bleublancrouge, a top ten advertising agency in Canada. During this time, they managed the Western Union and Loto-Québec sponsorship accounts and lead consultation on sponsorship activities for TELUS, CCM, Saputo, and Sun Life Financial. From 2013 to 2019, they were a Managing Partner and Co-founder at Elevent. In 2018, they began working as a Lecturer at the Université de Montréal. In 2019, they began working as a Lecturer at HEC Montréal, where they are currently employed.
Francis Dumais completed a DEC at Collège Jean-de-Brébeuf from 2001-2002 in International studies. Francis then went on to obtain a Bachelor in administration (B.A.A.) from HEC Montréal from 2002-2005 in Marketing. Lastly, they completed a Master's (M.Sc.) from HEC Montréal from 2008-2011 in Marketing.
