Ricardo Roquette

Ricardo Roquette has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Ricardo began their career at Citi in 1990, where they served as a Senior Manager and played a pivotal role in the development and implementation of the new Brazilian Payment System. During their tenure at Citi, they also supported various areas of the retail business as a technology representative.

In 2003, Ricardo joined Rede as a Systems Director, where they led the preparation, planning, and restructuring of the IT department. Ricardo also managed a project with IBM and SAP to capture credit and debit transactions via cell phone, providing services for establishments.

In 2006, Ricardo moved to Banco Santander as an IT Executive Superintendent. Ricardo played an active role in integrating people and systems during two mergers, including Real and Santander. Ricardo also oversaw the Santander Aquirencia as the IT manager.

From 2015 to 2019, Ricardo worked at SafraPay as an Information Technology Executive Superintendent. Their responsibilities included developing and implementing an Accrediting Organization for Safra Bank, approving the budget, deciding on the architectural solution, and hiring new suppliers. Ricardo successfully executed and implemented a project related to the accrediting organization, receiving certifications and launching Safrapay on the market.

Most recently, in 2019, Ricardo joined Getnet Brasil as the CIO.

Ricardo Roquette attended UERJ from 1982 to 1987, where they studied Mathematics and Computer Science.
