Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at RoundUp App, where they played a key role in overhauling existing systems and creating new products.

Thom's work experience also includes serving as a Senior Web Developer at Spur, where they led the development of multiple key systems that contributed to the company's growth. Thom also worked as a Web Developer at Appleton Talent, where they were involved in creating HRMS software that eventually led to the formation of a new company called Spur.

Earlier in their career, Thom worked as a Web Developer at Jackson Furniture Industries, where they were responsible for front-end and backend development, data analysis, and network administration. Thom also held the position of Director of IT at AppliancePartsPros.com, where they designed and implemented server domains and created user-friendly websites for tracking sales and accessing information.
