Ilia Kanevsky

Ilia Kanevsky is a seasoned professional in hardware development and research with over 17 years of experience. Currently serving as a Research and Development Specialist at GetSAT Ltd. since October 2016, Ilia has previously contributed to Commtact Ltd. as part of the R&D hardware development team from June 2010 to October 2016, focusing on board design in Altium Designer. Prior experience includes roles at Camtek and Printar, where involvement in hardware development and board design with tools like Orcad and Mentor was key, alongside FPGA design utilizing VHDL and Verilog. Ilia began a career in hardware development within the Israel Defense Forces, mastering FPGA design with Quartus (Altera). Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Electronics from Holon Institute of Technology and a PA in Computers & Electronics from Ort Academy at Givat Ram Jerusalem.
