Miles Hobby

Miles Hobby is the co-founder of Agora, a software engineering company. Miles was previously a software engineer at Flexport from November 2019 to June 2020. Prior to that, they worked as a software engineer at Uber from August 2017 to November 2019. Miles also worked as a metabolic engineering team member at UCSC iGEM from June 2016 to November 2016. Their first job was as an undergraduate researcher at Stone Research Group from April 2014 to May 2015.

Miles Hobby attended App Academy for their Bachelor’s Degree in Bioengineering and Bioinformatics. Miles then went on to attend Baskin Engineering at UCSC for their Master’s Degree in the same field.
