Carlos Becil

Carlos Becil has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Carlos is currently serving as the Chief Experience Officer at Getaway since July 2021. Prior to this, they held the position of Executive Board Member at the same company from January 2020 to July 2021.

Before joining Getaway, Carlos worked at Coach from February 2017 to November 2020, where they held the role of SVP, Global Chief Marketing Officer for the Coach Brand.

From April 2014 to January 2017, Carlos served as the Chief Marketing Officer at Equinox. Carlos also held the position of Senior Vice President, Marketing at Equinox from June 2013 to March 2014.

Carlos has extensive experience in the hospitality industry, having worked at various positions in Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. Carlos was the Vice President, North America Brand Management for W Hotels, St Regis, Luxury Collection & Le Meridien Hotels from January 2010 to May 2013. Carlos also served as Vice President, Global Brand Management for W Hotels and LeMeridien from January 2009 to January 2010. Prior to this, they were the Sr. Director of Marketing, W Hotels from September 2006 to December 2008.

Before entering the hotel industry, Carlos worked at Kraft Foods as a Sr. Category Business Director from January 1997 to December 2005. Carlos also had a role as Marketing Manager at Nestle from September 1994 to December 1996.

Carlos Becil earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from NYU Stern School of Business from 1984 to 1988. Carlos later pursued an MBA in Marketing from the University of Michigan's Stephen M. Ross School of Business, completing it from 1992 to 1994.
