Sven von Sperl

Sven von Sperl has a diverse work experience spanning from 2012 to present. Sven is currently working as a Product Manager (Risk and Operations) at Cape since November 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Billie as a Risk Operations Lead from January 2020 to November 2021, and as a Senior Risk Operations Manager from November 2019 to January 2020.

Before joining Billie, Sven worked at PayU as a Business Analyst (Global Credit) from December 2017 to November 2019, where they oversaw new credit initiatives in various regions and contributed to the company's credit strategy and risk reporting.

Sven also has experience at Spotcap Global as a Credit & Operations Analyst from September 2016 to December 2017, where they analyzed clients' creditworthiness, made lending decisions, and improved operational activities.

Prior to that, Sven worked at National Australia Bank as a Small Business Protection Specialist and Senior Financial Planner from February 2016 to October 2016, working closely with small business owners to help them meet their financial goals.

Their earliest work experience was at Eluvia Sydney, where they held multiple roles including Financial Adviser from November 2013 to February 2016 and Financial Controller from January 2012 to January 2016. In these roles, they managed corporate superannuation plans, executed business development strategies, conducted financial reviews for clients, and ensured financial management and compliance for the business.

Sven von Sperl began their education journey in 2002 at St Ignatius College, Riverview, where they obtained their High School Certificate in 2007. Following this, they enrolled at the University of Sydney in 2009 and completed their Bachelor's degree in Economics in 2012. In 2013, Sven attended Pinnacle and achieved a Diploma of Financial Planning, specializing in Financial Services. Their desire to further their expertise led him to pursue a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation at the Financial Planning Association of Australia, which they obtained in 2017.
