James O’Connell-Cooper

James O'Connell-Cooper is an accomplished marketing professional, currently serving as Chief Marketing Officer and SVP, Head of Marketing and Brand at CARET since November 2022. With a rich background in marketing leadership, James co-founded Similar but Better in January 2021 and previously held key roles at Xero from April 2013 to March 2022, including Director of Marketing for the Americas and the US. Prior experience includes positions at Mojo Coffee as Marketing & Sales Manager, and various roles at Millennium & Copthorne Hotels from 2004 to 2008, where responsibilities spanned multiple locations in New Zealand. James also contributed to Project Born as a Producer from 2010 to December 2012, demonstrating a diverse skill set in marketing, sales, and operations.
