Carmen F. has a diverse work experience, beginning in 2011 when they were a Child Protection Intern at ECPAT Austria. Carmen then worked as a Human Rights and Law Trainee at UNAIDS in 2012, a Project Manager, Policy and Advocacy at International AIDS Society in 2013, a Programme Officer, Humanitarian and Fragile Context Branch at UNFPA in 2014, an Associate at ACS in 2015, a Content Writer at Global Citizen in 2018, a People Partner and People & Culture Lead at Mitte from 2019 to 2022, and is currently the Head of People & Culture at CURE.

Carmen F. completed a Certificate in Disaster Management from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences in 2018. Carmen then went on to obtain a Master of Science in International Relations and Affairs from Royal Holloway, University of London in 2012. Prior to this, Carmen had obtained a Bachelor's degree in Transcultural Communication from the University of Vienna in 2011. In 2009, they had also studied Traducción e Interpretación at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid.
