Richard Bennett

Richard started his career with General Electric (GE) in Australia and the Asia Pacific. He has subsequently gained more than 20 years of entrepreneurial experience in the technology and renewable energy sectors developing high-growth companies. He is currently chairman of Sunbird Bioenergy, a producer of low-carbon fuels in Africa. He holds several Non-Executive directorships including AIM-listed MTI Wireless Edge and Hong Kong-listed China New Energy. Previously he was a director of Coms plc, Virtual Internet plc and NASDAQ listed J2 Global Inc.
