James Maduekeh

James O. Maduekeh, MBA (Oxon), is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in treasury client solutions, investment firm development, and financial markets leadership across Africa. Currently serving as the Senior Vice President and Head of Treasury Client Solutions at Africa Finance Corporation since December 2021, James plays a pivotal role in de-risking infrastructure projects and driving sustainable development through innovative financial solutions. As a Co-Founder and Non-Executive Director at Moreva Capital, James contributed to the company's growth from conception to operational status. Previous roles include Vice Chairman of the Swaps & Derivatives Workgroup at the Financial Markets Dealers Association in Nigeria, Director at Standard Chartered Bank, and Senior Manager at both Standard Bank Group and UBA Group, where James O. was instrumental in establishing client hedging desks and executing significant financial transactions. James began their career as a Chemical Engineer and holds an Executive MBA from the University of Oxford and a combined MEng in Chemical Engineering from UCL.
