Jacob Clarkson

Jacob Clarkson is a Systems Engineer at Klar since February 2022, with prior experience as Operations Lead and Interim Engineering Lead at Explore Data Science Academy from January 2020 to February 2022. Responsibilities included architecting product migrations to AWS and implementing monitoring systems. Experience also includes a Software Engineer role at EXPLORE-AI, focusing on notification systems and data engineering, along with earlier positions as a Junior Data Scientist and a variety of tutoring roles at the University of Cape Town. Jacob holds a Master’s Degree in Computer Science, an Honours Degree in Computer Science, and two Bachelor's Degrees, one in Computer Science and Computer Games Design, and another in Philosophy and Psychology, all obtained from the University of Cape Town.
