Brune Poirson

Brune Poirson is a prominent figure in sustainability and environmental policy, currently serving as the Chief Sustainability Officer at Accor since May 2021 and as an Independent Board member at Getlink since June 2022. Previously, Brune Poirson held the position of Députée du Vaucluse in the Assemblée nationale from August 2020 to April 2021 and acted as the Secrétaire d'Etat for Transition Ecologique et Solidaire in the French government from June 2017 to August 2020, where the significant "Loi anti-gaspillage pour une économie circulaire" was introduced. Brune Poirson has also gained international experience as Director of Sustainability and Corporate Social Responsibility at Veolia (South Asia) and served as Project Coordinator at the French Development Agency. Educational qualifications include a Master’s Degree from Harvard University and the Harvard Kennedy School, as well as a Master's degree in Political Science and Government from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).
