Jared Wein

Jared W. is a seasoned engineering leader with extensive experience in software development and management. Currently serving as Head of Engineering and Engineering Manager at Magical since January 2023, Jared focuses on reducing repetitive tasks through innovative web browser capabilities. Previously, from June 2011 to January 2023, Jared held multiple positions at Mozilla, including Engineering Manager for the Firefox front-end team, where leadership spanned several engineering projects and teams. Prior roles at Mozilla included Senior Staff Software Engineer and Staff Software Engineer, where Jared led significant projects, such as the development of the Lockwise UI and integrations with Firefox Monitor. Earlier experience includes software engineering roles at TechSmith Corporation and Michigan State University, where Jared developed various applications and contributed to educational initiatives. Jared holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, both from Michigan State University.
