Sholeh Esmaili-Montoya

Sholeh Esmaili-Montoya serves as the Chief Human Resources Officer at Getmyboat, where Sholeh has designed and implemented the company's first global people and talent strategy since June 2021. In addition to this role, Sholeh is an instructor at UC Berkeley Extension, specializing in recruitment and selection in the HR Management Certificate Program. Sholeh has been involved with CPOHQ as a member since March 2023 and is a founding member of Hacking HR's Experts Council, contributing valuable insights to the HR community. Previously, Sholeh held the position of Vice President of People & Places at Bolt Threads, where strategic leadership was provided during the company's growth phase. Sholeh's extensive experience includes roles such as Director of Human Resources at Phacil, Inc., where significant contributions were made to the company's expansion from 80 to over 650 employees. Sholeh holds a Master of Public Administration from California State University - East Bay and a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from San Diego State University.
