Cyrus Faroughy

Cyrus Faroughy is a Senior Data Scientist at Getty Images, with experience in developing predictive models and data analysis. Previously, as a Data Science Fellow at Insight Data Science, Cyrus built a regression model utilizing online trailer search data to forecast movie success. At The Johns Hopkins University, Cyrus served as a Graduate Research Assistant, applying Quantum Mechanics and General Relativity to explore energy density perturbations in the early universe, and extended analytical models for particle collider testing. Additionally, experience includes managing the largest physics class as a Graduate Teaching Assistant. Cyrus began research as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Stony Brook University, focusing on simulations of electro-proton collisions. Cyrus holds a PhD in Theoretical High Energy Physics and Cosmology from The Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor's degree in Physics and Mathematics from Stony Brook University.
