Laurence Rega has a diverse work experience starting from 2011. Laurence started as a Journaliste multimédia at RTL Belgium, where they worked as a member of the online news team, monitoring news, writing articles, conducting interviews, and managing homepage content. Laurence then joined the Youth-Agenda Association as the Manager of the International Department, where they drafted projects to increase European Awareness through the Erasmus+ Program and international youth exchanges.
After that, Laurence worked as Cultural Communications at Özel Yeni Nesil 2000 Okulları, where they immersed students in the French language and culture and taught them the importance of learning French. Laurence also took on the role of Rédacteur contributeur at cafébabel, where they rebuilt the Istanbul project and supervised a team of contributors.
Laurence's longest occupation was with L'Atelier du français, where they worked as a Français Langue Étrangère and Relations Publiques for four years, contributing greatly to their professional identity.
Laurence then joined AFI Agency as a Content Producer, where they created B2B content for the Turkish Exporters Assembly's campaign to promote Turkey abroad. Following that, Laurence worked at idealo internet GmbH as a Content Marketing & PR Manager for France.
Currently, Laurence is working at GetYourGuide as a Full Stack Engineer, initially starting as an Associate Full Stack Engineer before transitioning to the role of Full Stack Engineer.
Laurence Rega's education history begins in 2007 when they attended IHECS and pursued a Master's degree in presse et information spécialisées, with a field of study focused on presse-information. This educational endeavor lasted until 2013. In 2018, Laurence Rega enrolled at The Open University, where they completed a digital marketing degree. After that, in 2020, Laurence Rega attended Ironhack for web development, specializing in the field of web development. This program extended until 2021. In addition to their formal education, Laurence Rega obtained certifications in web development from Ironhack and responsive web design from freeCodeCamp in February 2021 and February 2019, respectively.
