Barlebo

Heidi Christiansen Barlebo is the State Geologist and Head of the Hydrology Department at the Geological Survey of Denmark and Greenland (GEUS), a position held since September 2007, overseeing a team of approximately 25 researchers. With a robust background in hydrology, Barlebo has served in various capacities at GEUS since 1996, including Senior Advisor and Research Hydrologist, focusing on groundwater hydrology and project management. Academic qualifications include a PhD from the Technical University of Denmark in groundwater hydrology and a Master's degree in Civil Engineering from the same institution. Barlebo also participated in an Executive Management Programme at INSEAD, enhancing skills in strategy, innovation, and leadership.
