Kasia K. Sliwinska

Kasia K. Sliwinska is a Senior Scientist at GEUS since August 2013, specializing as a biostratigrapher in the LoCrA project. Prior experience includes roles as a postdoctoral researcher at GEUS, focusing on the reconstruction of late Paleogene paleotemperatures and palynofacies analysis from Cretaceous deposits. Kasia served as a visiting researcher at the NIOZ Royal Netherlands Institute for Sea Research and completed a PhD in Micropaleontology at Aarhus University, where research encompassed the depositional history of the Oligocene in the North Sea Basin. Academic qualifications include a B.Sc. in Geology from the University of Warsaw and an M.Sc. from Aarhus University.
