Matthew Elson

Matthew Elson has extensive experience in the engineering and wind power sectors, currently working in blade repair at GEV Wind Power since June 2023. Previously, Matthew served as a blade technician at Swires Energy Services and as a rope access technician at Rigg Tech Ltd. Matthew's career began in 2004 as a mechanic at Clasp Landrover, with a rapid progression to crane operator and gas axe technician at Corus. During a 12-year tenure at Rainham Steel Tubes Limited, Matthew gained expertise as an inspector for lifting equipment and as a yard operative, developing skills in operating heavy machinery and complex steel work. Matthew holds multiple certifications, including CCNSG, CSCS, IPAF, and LEEA, demonstrating a strong commitment to safety and operational excellence.
