Andrey Shigaev

Andrey Shigaev began their career in 2005 with an internship at Oxford Instruments. In 2006 they took on the role of Technology Analyst at London Technology Network. In 2007 they became a Business Consultant at Nanoholdings, LLC and in 2008 they were promoted to Executive Director at Sistema. In 2009 they assumed the role of Advisor to the Deputy Chairman at TransTeleCom and Head of Infrastructure Projects, Business Development at JSC “High-Speed Rail Lines”. In 2011 they became the Managing Director and Head of the Project at Kalimantan Rail Group. In 2016 they co-founded Souffleur, the app and in 2018 they co-founded Geyser Batteries, where they are currently the Co-Founder and Managing Director.

Andrey Shigaev's education history consists of four degrees. Andrey completed a MPhil in Micro- and Nanotechnology Enterprise at the University of Cambridge in 2006, followed by elective courses in Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies at the London Business School in 2008. Andrey then obtained a PhD in Physics from Saratov State University named after N.G.Chernyshevsky between 2002 and 2005. Theirfirst degree was a PhD research in Telecommunications from the University of Stuttgart, which they completed in 2003.
