Francesco Maja

Francesco Maja started their work experience in 2007 as a Scooter & Motorcycle Service provider at Piaggio Scooter Dealer and Repair Shop di Chiarle Marco. From 2010 to 2012, they worked at OR.EVEN di Guizzardi Alberto, providing support for the organization of EuroMineralExpo Fairs. In 2016, they joined 3D New Technologies as a Project Engineer & Technical Developer and later took on the role of Health & Safety Manager from 2018 to 2019. Currently, since 2019, they are associated with GF Machining Solutions, where they initially worked as an Additive Manufacturing Application Engineer until 2021 and is now serving as the Head of Additive Manufacturing Engineering & Production.

Francesco Maja has a diverse education history. Francesco obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Politecnico di Torino in 2013. Francesco further pursued their studies at the same university and completed a Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in Manufacturing Systems and Technologies in 2016. In addition, Francesco participated in the Advanced Double-Degree Program in Innovation Management at Alta Scuola Politecnica from 2013 to 2015. Francesco also attended McMaster University as a Visiting Student at the McMaster Manufacturing Research Institute in 2015-2016. Francesco pursued further education at Politecnico di Torino and completed a II-Level Specializing Master's Program in Industrial Engineering and Management from 2017 to 2019. Francesco also attended the COMAU S.p.A. "Project & People Management" School in Shanghai, China, completing a diploma in 2014. Francesco Maja completed their high school education with a High School Diploma in Scientific Studies from Liceo Scientifico "Galileo Ferraris" in 2010. Francesco also spent a year attending the 4th year of high school in Horseshoe Bend, Idaho, USA, at Horseshoe Bend High School in 2008-2009. Additionally, Francesco has obtained several certifications, including a Leadership and Communication certificate from Harvard University in 2023 and a Data Science Professional certificate from IBM in 2021.
