Jim Semersky

Director of Channels at GFI Software

Jim Semersky has held a variety of roles in the tech industry since 1972. Jim began their career at IBM, where they held multiple management positions in high tech manufacturing, product planning, and OEM sales. In 1996, they were awarded the IBM Golden Circle Award for OEM Sales for the Networking Hardware Division. In 1997, they moved to 3Com as a Global Account Director. In 2000, they joined Home Director, Inc. as Vice President of Sales and Channel Development, where they led a national sales team of 25 regional and national account managers and was responsible for sales strategy and revenue growth from $2M to $16M in 12 months. In 2002, they moved to McAfee as a Channel Account Executive for multiple business units, managing channel programs in enterprise, SMB, and Government, Health, and Education. In 2004, they joined Network General as Director of Channels. Finally, in 2006, they became Director of Channels for the Americas at GFI Software, where they designed partner programs to scale in the SMB market.
