Jens-Thorsten Rauer

Jens-Thorsten Rauer is currently the Group Chief Executive and Managing Director of GFT Group. Jens-Thorsten has also been the Region Manager for Central and Western Europe since February 2020. Prior to their work at GFT Group, Rauer worked in the financial services industry for Hewlett Packard Enterprise EMEA Central & Eastern Europe from January 2013 to February 2020. In this role, they were responsible for the overall management of HP's financial services business in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and CEE. From October 2010 to January 2012, Rauer served as the Head of Business Development and Strategy for Enterprise Services Germany at Hewlett-Packard. In this position, they were responsible for HP's overall business development and sales strategy in Germany. From April 2017 to February 2020, Rauer was the Industry General Manager for Banking and Capital Markets at DXC Technology Inc. (NCE). In this role, they were responsible for DXC's banking and capital markets business in North/Central & Eastern Europe. Prior to their work at DXC Technology, Rauer served as the SVP of IT Infrastructure Services (BL Dregis / Agis) at Dresdner Bank / Allianz from January 2000 to December 2001. Jens-Thorsten Rauer has an Executive MBA in Finance, Economics and Strategy from Duke University - The Fuqua School of Business, a Diplom Kaufmann in Finance, Economics and Strategy from Goethe University, and a Diplom Informatiker Wirtschaftsinformatik in Computer Science and Business Administration from EBS Universität für Wirtschaft und Recht.
