Rafael Rivera

Rafael Rivera is a Research Scientist at GH Labs since July 2023, previously serving as a Senior Scientist at Anavasi Diagnostics and Associate Scientist roles at both GH Labs and Intellectual Ventures. Experience includes assay development for diagnostics in low-resource settings, coordination of field studies in Peru, and collaboration with cross-functional teams for the FDA-approved PanNAT system integration. Earlier, Rafael held roles as a Quality Control Technician at Molecular Epidemiology Inc. and as a Laboratory Technician Intern at Dow Pharmaceutical Sciences, focusing on formulation testing and quality control processes. Rafael holds a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from the University of Michigan, obtained in 2010.
