Brenda Pesmark P.e.

Brenda Pesmark P.E., CPD, LEED Green Associate has over 30 years of experience in the field of mechanical engineering. Brenda is currently working as a Lead Senior Mechanical Engineer at Ghafari Associates since 2023. Prior to that, they worked at NORR as an Associate, Senior Mechanical Engineer from 2017 to 2023. Their responsibilities at NORR included coordinating mechanical designs, creating construction documents and specifications, and ensuring quality control.

From 2014 to 2017, Brenda worked at Ghafari Associates as a Senior Mechanical Engineer where they developed mechanical designs, created project plans and specifications, and coordinated mechanical design with the team.

Brenda also has experience working at Albert Kahn Family of Companies as an Associate, Senior Mechanical Engineer from 2011 to 2014, BEI Associates as a Senior Mechanical Engineer from 2010 to 2011, Peter Basso Associates as an Associate, Senior Mechanical Engineer from 2006 to 2010, Cornerstone Engineering, Inc. as a Senior Mechanical Engineer in 2005, and Albert Kahn Family of Companies as an Associate, Senior Mechanical Engineer from 1992 to 2005.

Throughout their career, Brenda has demonstrated expertise in project management, specification development, construction follow-up, building/system coordination, quality checking, and code compliance. Brenda has also managed and coordinated HVAC system layouts for various projects.

Brenda Pesmark P.E., CPD, LEED Green Associate obtained a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Kansas State University, where they studied from 1986 to 1991. Brenda is also certified as a Professional Engineer (P.E.) by the State of Michigan since November 2003. In addition, Brenda has acquired the LEED Green Associate certification from USGBC in October 2016, and they are also certified in Plumbing Design (CPD) by the American Society of Plumbing Engineers since May 2019.
