As an architect, Rebecca relishes the opportunity to be a problem solver. Throughout a career of 20+ years, Becky has honed her ability to sync facility design intent with distinct technical and functional requirements, striking a balance between thoughtful aesthetics and beautiful utility. Her mission for each project is clear: to shape the built environments that give clients a place to thrive, local communities a reason to cheer, and the world cause to take notice.
At Ghafari, Becky leads the Dearborn-based architectural team, providing production oversight, project coordination, quality assurance, and mentorship. She has applied her expertise in building programming and planning, code review and analysis, construction document coordination and production, and construction administration for projects across the commercial, hospitality, retail, government, and industrial markets. Becky is passionate about expanding the boundaries of traditional project execution and therefore advocates for and participates in strategic business initiatives to position the company at the industry forefront. She is committed to overseeing and advancing the relationships of both colleagues and clients to ensure the best service is always rendered.
Becky holds a Master of Architecture and a Bachelor of Science in architecture, both from Lawrence Technological University. She is a member of the American Institute of Architects and the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards. She holds architectural licensure in more than 10 states. In 2020, she was recognized as one of Crain’s Detroit Business’ “Notable Women in Design”.
