Mark Awuah Baah

Mark Awuah Baah was appointed Director of the Southern Network Department at Ghana Grid Company Limited in 2022.

As the Director in charge of the southern sector grid, he provides leadership to Managers in the area of power transmission assets maintenance, improvement, and optimization including a program plan for the reliable operation of the National Interconnected System of Ghana. Mark was previously Director, System Operations and Manager, Market Operations, and the Special Assistant to the Chief Executive of GRIDCo He was instrumental in the transition and operationalization of GRIDCo. Mark holds degrees in Electrical Engineering from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), an MSc. degree in Electromechanical Engineering from the Moscow Power Engineering Institute, and an MBA from Leeds University Business School.

He is a member of the Ghana Institution of Engineers (GhIE).
