Roger Oteng Baah

Roger Oteng Baah has a diverse work experience in the field of Information Technology. From 2020 to present, they have been serving as the Head of IT at Ghana Oil Company Limited, where they coordinate and leads all computer-related activities.

Previously, from 2017 to 2020, Roger worked as a Lead Consultant at Secure Reach Consult Ltd., applying their expertise in various IT areas such as networking, application, web, and cybersecurity to support clients in their business activities. During this time, they also provided consulting services in risk, compliance, and audit, delivering customized solutions based on client requirements.

Prior to that, Roger worked at IBM from 2015 to 2016 as a Network Services Specialist, specializing in networking system technology areas. Roger was responsible for building proof-of-concept solutions and architecting networking solutions to meet client needs using various vendor hardware and operating system software.

From 2012 to 2015, Roger served as the Network Operations Manager at Fidelity Bank Ghana Limited. In this role, they ensured the smooth operation of the bank's network, troubleshooting technical issues and maintaining routers, switches, and firewalls.

Roger's earlier experience includes working at Ghana Community Network Service Limited (GCNet) from 2003 to 2012. Roger served as a Data Center Engineer for the GeGov Project, designing and managing a secured network infrastructure. Roger also worked as an Assistant Network Manager, supervising a team and providing network maintenance and support.

Furthermore, Roger worked as a Network Technician at Abex Communication and Technologist from 2002 to 2003. In this role, they planned and implemented network solutions for both corporate and individual clients, resolving network problems on-site.

Roger Oteng Baah has a diverse education history. Roger completed a Post Graduate in Cloud Computing from The University of Texas at Austin in 2023-2024. Prior to that, they obtained a Certificate in Oil and Gas Management from Cambridge Management and Leadership School in 2022-2023. In 2014-2017, they earned an MSc. in Telecommunication Management from Ghana Communication Technology University (GCTU). Before their master's degree, they acquired a Certificate in Project Management from The University of Texas at Austin in 2014. Roger started their educational journey with a BSc in Management and Computer Studies from Wisconsin International University College, Ghana in 2006-2009.

Roger also received certification as a Cyberoam Certified Network and Security Professional (CCNSP), as well as an ISO 27001 Lead Auditor Certificate from BSI in the same year. Roger'sother certifications include IT Service Management (ITIL V3) from EXIN and CompTIA A+ and Network+ from CompTIA. Additionally, they have certifications from Cisco Systems (USA) PTE.
