Brendan Henry is a seasoned engineering professional with over 25 years of experience in tunneling and underground construction. Currently serving as Practice Leader and Senior Technical Director at GHD since July 2012, Brendan has contributed to various significant projects, including the Sydney Metro WTP and the Scarborough Subway Extension in Toronto. Prior to GHD, Brendan held the position of Engineering Manager at John Holland, overseeing TBM tunnels for the Brisbane Airport Link. Brendan’s earlier roles include Project Manager at SNC Lavalin Group, managing the Canada Line TBM bored tunnels, and Project Manager at AMEC, focusing on tunneling capabilities for ports and infrastructure. Brendan began the career as a Project Engineer with Christiani and Nielsen, contributing to notable construction projects in Singapore, and holds a B.Eng Honours in Civil Engineering from Liverpool John Moores University.
