Monica Hyland

Monica Hyland is a structural engineer at GHD, having progressed through roles from undergraduate engineer to graduate structural engineer since November 2017. Prior experience includes serving as Vice President of Sponsorship for the UQ Engineering Undergraduate Society from October 2018 to September 2019 and as President and Vice President of the Civil Engineering Student Association at the University of Queensland from October 2016 to November 2018. Additionally, Monica provided private tutoring in Physics and Maths B & C to high school students from 2014 to 2017, and worked as a retail assistant at Kmart Australia Limited from September 2011 to September 2014. Monica holds a Bachelor of Engineering and Commerce with a focus on civil engineering and finance from The University of Queensland, completed between 2014 and 2019, and attended St Rita's College, Clayfield from 2008 to 2013.
