Tanya Harrison is an accomplished space scientist with extensive experience in both outreach and research. As the Owner and Chief Scientist of Professional Martian LLC since January 2019, Tanya focuses on innovative outreach initiatives for diverse audiences. Previous roles include Director of Science for Impact at Planet and Director of Research for the NewSpace Initiative at Arizona State University, highlighting collaborations on notable missions such as LunaH and Mars 2020. Tanya's experience includes a significant tenure at Malin Space Science Systems, where contributions to NASA’s Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter facilitated mapping of over 80% of Mars. With a strong academic foundation, including a Ph.D. in Geology/Earth Science from Western University, Tanya is also a sought-after speaker and consultant for science and sci-fi projects.
