Matt McConnell

Matt McConnell is a Principal at ghSMART. He advises investors, boards, and corporate clients on their most pressing leadership challenges, including leadership assessment, succession planning, and organizational effectiveness.

Prior to joining ghSMART, Matt was an Engagement Manager at Deloitte Consulting, where he advised global Fortune 500 companies in the financial services and technology sectors. His areas of focus spanned large-scale business and operating model transformations, as well as customer experience strategies. In addition to client service, Matt served as the Chief of Staff for Deloitte’s Human Capital Financial Services practice, where he collaborated with firm leadership on strategic growth initiatives and staff engagement.

Matt holds an M.B.A from Columbia Business School and a B.S. in Finance from Boston College.
