Monika Zeller

Monika Zeller is a Principal at ghSMART. She partners with senior leaders, boards, and corporate clients on their most significant leadership priorities, including assessments, coaching, succession planning, and organizational effectiveness.

Prior to joining ghSMART, Monika spent a decade at McKinsey & Company, where she served clients in the public, private, and non-profit sectors on topics spanning corporate strategy, post-merger integrations, top- and bottom-line transformations, operating model redesign, organizational effectiveness, capability building, cultural transformations, and organizational design. In addition to her client work, Monika led recruiting efforts in the North East, co-crafting McKinsey’s recruiting strategy, conducting over 100 candidate assessments, and cultivating talent throughout the first year journey. As an Associate Partner, she was responsible for evaluation, professional development, and mentorship of several junior colleagues.

Monika began her career at Citibank as a product analyst in the B2B payment space. Prior to choosing her own professional path, she spent a decade supporting her family’s business, working jobs spanning sales, marketing, strategy, and finance.

Monika holds an MBA from Harvard Business School, an MSc in Strategy from London School of Economics, and a BA in Economics from Warsaw School of Economics. She has lived and worked in Poland, Germany, Switzerland, the UK, and the US, and is a native Polish and a fluent German speaker.

She currently resides in Forest Hills, New York, with her husband and two kids. She is an avid fan of tennis and a connoisseur of tea.
