Owais Shaikh

Owais Shaikh currently serves as Vice President of Technical Operations at GI Property Management since April 2025. Previously, Owais worked at Digital Realty from March 2016 to April 2025, holding various roles including Sr. Manager of Global Customer Success in Hyperscale, Sr. Technical Solutions Manager in Global Hyperscale, Chief Engineer, and Assistant Chief Engineer, focusing on mission-critical data centers. Prior experience includes engineering roles at Verizon Wireless in mission-critical data centers from January 2014 to March 2016 and serving as a Project Engineer at IBM from October 2010 to March 2013, where responsibilities included business development and technical support for data centers. Owais's academic credentials include an MBA from California State University, Los Angeles (2020-2021) and advanced degrees in Electrical Engineering from Mehran University of Engineering and Technology (Bachelor’s 2006-2009, Post Graduation 2010-2012).
