Shannon Tanko

Shannon Tanko has a diverse work experience in the retail industry. Shannon started their career at Macy's as an Assistant Visual Merchandiser, where they assisted in creating and maintaining visual displays. Shannon then worked at Forever 21 as a Visual Merchandiser, collaborating with the visual team to create merchandise displays. Shannon then joined Sanity Boutique as an Assistant Manager & Head Merchandiser, overseeing daily operations and creating visual displays. Shannon later became a Department Manager at Urban Outfitters, assisting in establishing goals and supervising the floor. Shannon then worked at Target as a Visual Merchandising Leader, responsible for remerchandising and styling displays. Shannon later joined Macy's again as a Seasonal Visual Merchandiser. Prior to their current role as a Visual Merchandising Manager at Value City Furniture, Shannon worked as a General Manager at Cleveland Clothing Company, where they provided leadership and generated sales. Shannon is currently working as a Visual Merchandising Team Lead at Giant Eagle, Inc.

Shannon Tanko obtained a Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design: Product Development from the University of Cincinnati from 2006 to 2011. Shannon also pursued a Certificate in Interior Design from The Interior Design Institute starting in 2018. No end year was specified for this certificate program.
