Katarina Throssell

Katarina Throssell is a Senior Investment Associate at Giant Leap since January 2023, involved in investments focused on transformative changes in climate, health, and education. Concurrently, Katarina serves as a Giants Mentor at Blackbird, supporting early-stage founders, and as a Student Fellowship Coach at Startmate. Previously, Katarina held the position of Director and Company Secretary at StreetSmart Australia, addressing funding gaps for homelessness organizations. Additional experience includes roles as a Project Officer with the Commonwealth Climate and Law Initiative and various legal positions, including Lawyer at Arnold Bloch Leibler and Law Clerk at Australian Government Solicitor. Katarina's educational background includes a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and Bachelor of International Relations from The Australian National University, with further studies in venture capital and political science.
